Day pass
A seat for the day, $35, no commitment.
Try the floor before you rent a desk or an office, or just get out of the house for a Tuesday. A seat in the commons, the kitchen beside it, fast Wi-Fi, a chair that does not wobble, and every event on the calendar, including the masterclasses.

No booking. 7 am to 9 pm weekdays, 9 am to 5 pm Saturdays; pay $35 at the front desk by card or e-transfer and sit down. The day pass is deliberately cheap so that nobody has to decide anything before sitting down. You get a seat in the commons, the kitchen, the Wi-Fi and the coffee, and whatever is on the calendar that day. Nobody will ask what your funding stage is. Most Edmonton day passes are $25 to $54.
If it fits, tell whoever is on the front desk and a desk or an office is yours from the next day, with the $35 taken off the first month. If it does not, you have lost a Tuesday.

Questions
The ones we get asked.
- Do I need to book?
- Email the day before if you can; walk in if you cannot. The commons seats 12 and has had room most days this month.
- Can I come to the masterclass on a day pass?
- Yes, when there is a seat on the night. Members register first; day passes fill the rest. Non-members can buy a day pass at the door.
- Can I use it as a trial?
- That is the point. If you rent a desk within two weeks of a day pass, the $35 comes off the first month.
- Is there somewhere to take a call?
- The commons is the room where talking is allowed, so a call at your seat is fine. The team room is free to members for an hour when nobody has let it; on a day pass, ask at the desk.
Come and stand in it.
Twenty minutes on the floor, no pitch, and you already know the price.
