Two people, one dining table, and a pallet that had to go somewhere
Tom cuts and stitches; Aisha runs everything else. For three years everything else happened at the dining table, under a pallet of hides.

Brindle & Oak took the first two dedicated desks rented on the open day, side by side on the west windows. The workshop stayed in their garage; what moved to the floor was the half of the business that had been eating their evenings: wholesale emails, the accounting, the photography, the meetings.
The storage unit took the hides. The photographer’s studio down the hall, after April, took the product shots. And a Pastries & products morning in September introduced them to a member with a laser cutter, which is how their first collaboration batch, hides with cut-brass hardware, is shipping in October.
The business stops at six now, because we leave it on the third floor and go home.
Aisha says the thing that changed most is not on any list of amenities. It is that the business stops at six, because they leave it on the third floor and go home.
Come and stand in it.
Nobody rents a desk they have not sat at. Twenty minutes on the floor, no pitch. If it fits what you are building, you will already know.
