Mailing address
A street address for your mail, that is not your kitchen.
Use the third floor of 12230 106 Avenue NW as the address on your invoices, your labels and your website. The front desk signs for what arrives, logs it, and does what you have asked: holds it for you, photographs the envelope, opens and scans it, or sends it on.

Most people who make things start out shipping from home, and their home address ends up on every invoice, every return label and the bottom of the website. A mailing address on the floor fixes that the day you sign, without moving anything else.
Every mailbox belongs to a named person or company that has been identified, nobody uses the address anonymously, and nothing is opened unless you have told us to in writing. Either side can end it, and forwarding carries on for a short time afterwards so nothing goes missing. The address is for mail: the front desk is not there to take meetings on your behalf, or to accept legal papers unless that has been agreed first.

Questions
The ones we get asked.
- How does the address read?
- Your name or company, then your mailbox number, then 12230 106 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5N 3Z1. The number is given when the agreement is signed; mail that arrives before then goes back to the sender.
- What do you need from me?
- Two pieces of identification, one with a photograph, and a real home or business address for forwarding. For a company, something that shows you can act for it. We record that we saw them, not copies of the cards.
- Is it a registered office for my company?
- Not by default. In Alberta a registered office is a physical address where documents can be served during business hours, so it needs someone there to receive them. If that is what you need, say so when you ask and we will tell you whether we can do it for your situation.
- Will banks and the CRA accept it?
- It is a normal street address with a mailbox number, so letters and couriers deliver to it and the CRA takes it. Check with anyone who must verify your address, such as a bank, that they accept a mailbox number, because some do not.
- Can I use it without a desk?
- Yes, at $59 a month. Day pass and pay-as-you-go members cannot use the address, because the address has to mean something.
- What happens to junk mail?
- It is recycled unless you tell us otherwise. Anything addressed to you personally is treated as your mail.
- Do you take parcels?
- Small ones, signed for at the front desk. Pallets and freight are for storage members, through the underground loading bay. Tell us what you expect so we know whether it will fit.
- What do you keep about me?
- The minimum to run it: who you are, where to forward, and a log of what arrived. Held mail goes back to the sender after a set period, and the log is used for nothing else. Ask for it at any time.
Come and stand in it.
